i call this 'some rocks of ages' i'm fascinated by the graffiti and carvings and sculpting left from other generations wherever and whenever. note: billy currington was singing 'people are crazy' about this ole man and me while i was doing this--hope i don't get in trouble for that. :(
these rocks form a semicircle on a rim overlooking an amphitheater about 3-4 acres large. the 'fertility' rock is in the center of the semicircle and on a lower plane from the others. the location is just off an old federal road and near halls valley, ga where some of the cherokees were rallied before the 'trail of tears' march. there are spanish signs and symbols here as well. de sota came through here at one time. a sword found near here was determined to be from his expedition and awarded by the courts to the youngsters who found it instead of the landowner who sued for it. don't have the answers. don't pretend to. the first head to me is more interesting and clearer than the 'rock of humanity' found in peru and touted as showing faces of different nationalities and races. you tell me. i'm still searching and thinking. more of these available on you tube

the rock below is one rock which has been cleft and shaped as two. it is the centerpiece of the amphitheater and has many carvings, shapings, and oddities.
back view of same rock. see the raised sculpted triangular head? almost goat like - see the eyes? are those horns on top? it is definitely raised--casts a shadow at different times of day.
do you remember in grade school the pictures with different images overlapping other images and forming new ones? this is the same rock as shown first above and it has many many images that form many many new ones. how many faces do you see.? personally , i think it is much clearer than the famous 'inca head' or 'monument to humanity' near markawasi area in peru shown on tv . what do you think? the faces are large and side by side for the most part. :)
different views of same rock--don't know about you but I see many faces--top, sides all over.
these 'pictures' are on a rock made by who and when i have no idea. note the woman, i call pocahauntas has a baby in a cradle board on her back. other two scenes are close ups of just her and baby with a different tint.
